Icons, Primitives, Visual Languages and Models...

Got caught in a small whirlpool today with the modeling and design approaches for RUP, UML, Sibbett, Enterprise Architecture, specific company 'practices', what people easily recognize, and even old fashioned marginalia (see Levingers), what one can actually draw and remember etc...
How to categorize artifacts or models, information types, strategy or system visuals... arghh.

On the fun side, I got a colorforms set that was the 1950's one-- for Christmas (what fun!).
I also found some 12, 18, 20-some sided dice which raise interesting ideas of working with groups for workshops --if they are not too complicated to use. I did find some nice colored happy face stickers to put on the 12 sided ones.

It has been almost a year since I fell over 'dead' and got a pacemaker, so I guess I am adjusted and will be around for awhile. Happy New Year 20-10 or 2000 - 10, however you say it.

2010 been a while...

I just realized it has been so long since I posted it seems the entries have been vaporized.
Logging entries in work related blogs, and using the new tools like facebook and linkedin, plaxo and others...I think I am not alone in moving away from blogs.
But maybe I will start again...Oh, and here is a very new and different picture of moi.....
